GTA 6 Streaming Status Clarified

An executive has clarified that GTA 6 will not be available through Xbox Cloud Gaming. The statement also confirms that Microsoft does not hold exclusive streaming rights to the game.

The clarification addresses earlier speculation about the title’s availability across different platforms and services. While cloud gaming has become an increasingly common way for players to access major releases, GTA 6 will not be among the titles offered through Microsoft’s streaming platform.

This means players interested in cloud-based access to Rockstar’s next major release will need to explore alternatives beyond Xbox Cloud Gaming. The lack of exclusive streaming rights held by Microsoft leaves the door open for potential availability through other services, though no additional details were provided.

For players planning to experience GTA 6 on launch day, this clarification narrows down the confirmed platforms and confirms that cloud gaming through Xbox won’t be a day-one option.
