Misinformation about Xbox securing exclusive cloud streaming rights for GTA 6 has been spreading online, according to Push Square. The reports making these claims are erroneous and do not reflect actual agreements between Rockstar Games and Microsoft.
Push Square investigated the false reports circulating across various platforms and confirmed they lack credibility. The confusion highlights how quickly unverified information can circulate within gaming communities, particularly around highly anticipated titles.
Rockstar Games has not announced any exclusive cloud streaming arrangement with Xbox for GTA 6. Players should rely on official statements from Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive for accurate information regarding platform availability and streaming options.
This clarification matters for players anticipating launch day because it reinforces the importance of verifying information through official channels rather than accepting unconfirmed reports that could create false expectations about how they’ll access the game.
