Vice City International Airport
leaked · unconfirmed
Vice City International Airport (IATA: VCI) is the primary international airport serving Vice-Dale County, Leonida, that is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Known from community leaks/datamining — never presented as confirmed fact. Updated the moment Rockstar reveals it officially.
What we know about Vice City International Airport
The airport is located in an unincorporated area of Vice-Dale County, within the mainland of Vice City. Situated close to the city center, it appears to be a large airport with close access to highways and hotels, and features its own automated transit system. Segments of the airport were first seen in the September 2022 GTA VI leaks, where portions of the tarmac and hangars belonging to the Autograph private aviation company could be seen. The airport's transit system cars could be seen in a separate clip, parked alongside cars for the Vice City Metro Mule. The airport's first official appearance was in the the game's first trailer, where the airport's radar and control towers could be seen behind the Vice City Sign.

Real-world inspiration analysis
The airport is evidently based on Miami International Airport in Florida, in name, location, and design. The control tower seen in Trailer 1 is modeled after Miami International Airport's control tower. The airport's transit system is a rendition of MIA's MIA Mover peoplemover system. The blue hangars seen in leaked footage are seemingly inspired by those at Miami–Opa Locka Executive Airport.
