Zelda: Ocarina of Time Switch 2 pre-orders set Amazon record, dominating GTA 6

Zelda: Ocarina of Time Switch 2 pre-orders have set a new Amazon sales record, outpacing GTA 6 preorder numbers on the platform. The resurgence of the classic title, reimagined for Nintendo’s next-gen console, has driven unprecedented demand, marking it as one of the fastest-selling preorder titles in Amazon’s history. While GTA 6 remains one of the most anticipated games of the year, Zelda’s performance highlights shifting consumer interest ahead of major 2026 releases. For players counting down to GTA 6’s Nov 19, 2026 launch, the surge underscores the competitive landscape of end-2026, where blockbuster titles may vie for attention during a crowded holiday season.
