Nintendo has clarified that it does not control whether Grand Theft Auto VI will be available on the Switch 2, stating the decision lies elsewhere. The company emphasized it is not responsible for determining platform availability for third-party titles like GTA 6. Fans anticipating the game’s November 19, 2026, launch will need to wait for further updates from Rockstar Games or Nintendo to confirm if the Switch 2 will support the title. This matters for players hoping to secure access on their preferred hardware, as platform choices could impact release timelines or accessibility.
