Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa has officially addressed the potential release of Grand Theft Auto VI on the Nintendo Switch, confirming the company is “aware of the interest” in bringing the title to its platform. While no further details were shared, the comment marks the first direct acknowledgment from Nintendo regarding the game’s cross-platform strategy. Rockstar Games has not confirmed whether GTA 6 will launch on Switch alongside its PC and console counterparts. For players anticipating the Nov 19, 2026, launch, this statement highlights the ongoing uncertainty around accessibility and platform availability for one of the most anticipated titles in gaming history.
