Nintendo has declined to confirm whether GTA 6 will launch on the Switch 2, redirecting speculation to Rockstar Games for clarification. Recent rumors suggest the next Grand Theft Auto title could expand to Nintendo’s upcoming console, but the company has not officially addressed the possibility. Rockstar, which has yet to comment, remains the sole entity with confirmation authority. The GTA 6 release date—set for Nov 19, 2026—remains unchanged, though platform details continue to be unconfirmed. For players awaiting the launch, the lack of clarity on potential Switch 2 support adds uncertainty about accessibility and hardware requirements ahead of the highly anticipated release.
