GTA 6 Cloud Streaming Split Between Xbox and PC

Xbox has secured cloud streaming rights for Grand Theft Auto 6, according to reporting by Sportskeeda Tech. However, the same cloud streaming access will not be available to PC players.

The distinction marks a notable division in how the game will be accessible across platforms at launch. Xbox players will be able to stream the title through the cloud, while those on PC will need to play through traditional means.

This exclusivity arrangement affects the broader strategy for how Rockstar Games is distributing access to its highly anticipated sequel. The decision reflects different licensing or technical agreements between Xbox and other platforms.

For players anticipating the November 2024 release, this means Xbox users will have additional flexibility in how they access the game, while PC players should plan for standard installation and play methods.
