Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto 6 multiplayer mode won’t arrive alongside the base game in November 2026, according to Twitch CEO Dan Clancy. The multiplayer component is scheduled to launch the following year in 2027, meaning players will have access to the single-player campaign first before the online experience rolls out separately.
This staggered release approach gives Rockstar additional development time to polish the multiplayer features after the main game launches. Players anticipating the November 2026 release should know the full GTA Online experience won’t be immediately available at launch.
