Grand Theft Auto VI, scheduled to release on Nov. 19, promises to be incredibly immersive. The series’s first game since

Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch November 19, 2026. The game marks the franchise’s first major release since 2013.

The New York Times was granted access to gameplay footage showcasing Vice City, which features an open-world map three times larger than its predecessor. The game will center on a Bonnie and Clyde-inspired narrative.

Rockstar has emphasized that GTA 6 is designed to deliver an incredibly immersive experience. The expanded map size and narrative focus represent significant evolution for the long-awaited sequel.

For players counting down to launch, the confirmed map scale and story direction indicate Rockstar is building a substantially more expansive world than fans experienced in previous entries.
