🗂️ Every character named in GTA 6's Extended Look — pulled from Rockstar's own captions
Every character named in Rockstar's official caption track for An Extended Look — nine on screen, one never seen, every line timestamped.
Rockstar published An Extended Look on 27 August 2026 — 26 minutes and 48 seconds, captured in-game on PlayStation 5. Alongside it they published an official English caption track.
We parsed all 487 lines of it. Every name below is spoken on screen and timestamped to the second. Nothing here comes from a leak.
The characters
Andrés de León — the job
The clearest thread in the whole reveal. At 19:24 a handler states the assignment outright:
“The job is Andrés de León. Protect him but keep him in line.”
He’s introduced in person at 19:45 — “Lucia, Jason. Please meet Andrés de León.” By 21:15 Jason and Lucia are described twice as his “new security detail”, once as people who were “hired” for it.
Petra Navarro — COO of Megamundo
At 21:19: “Jason and Lucia, this is Petra Navarro, COO of Megamundo.” She summons them at 22:34 — “Petra wants you. There’s some big speech happening.”
Megamundo — the corporation
Named twice. The second is the useful one, at 23:01: a line about “Megamundo’s first corporate headquarters on American soil.” A foreign corporation planting its US flag in Leonida, with our protagonists on the security detail, and a speech that does not end quietly.
Raymond, or “Ray”
The opening job. At 00:36: “Go inside and ask for Raymond.” He’s asked after again at 02:21, and by 02:37 someone calls through — “Yo, Ray! These two say they’re for Boobie.”
Boobie
Who sent them. “Boobie sent us for a pickup” [01:10].
Ernesto
Named exactly once, at 03:21, as the opening goes wrong: “Yo Ray, it’s him. Ernesto.” By 03:49 someone is shouting “It’s twelve! They tooled up and everything!”
Brian and Lori
The middle stretch. Brian is retired — “And don’t worry about Brian. Dude’s retired” [09:42]. Lori greets them at 10:11 with “I told Brian, I thought you two were both dead for sure.” At 10:40, “Brian was quite the stud back in the day” — answered with a single word: “Was?!”
Cal — named, never seen
The detail most people will miss. At 08:38, discussing the man they’re about to meet:
“Cal might have said he was like former Dominican intelligence or something.”
Cal is not on screen at any point. He’s a source of information about someone else — which tells you he’s connected enough to know, and trusted enough to be quoted.
What the dialogue tells you about the structure
Three movements, in order:
- A pickup for Boobie (00:00–05:00). Find Raymond. It goes loud inside three minutes.
- Brian and Lori (06:00–11:00). Social, domestic, and the setup for an introduction. “We need this intro, Lu” [08:24] — and “we’re in some deep fucking shit” [08:29].
- The Andrés job (19:00–end). The security detail, Megamundo, the speech, and then it turns.
One line at 10:51 is worth flagging on its own: “He wants it on the quiet. He only wants one of you.” Two protagonists, and the script is already separating them.
Names for each other
Jason is “Jay” to people close to him [06:24, 06:40, 08:50, 14:14]. Lucia is “Lu” [08:24].
And one joke everyone missed
At 07:30 a fake pharmaceutical ad plays: “Does life feel hopeless? Are you constantly searching for a way out? Luckily for you, those days are over thanks to Angstipan.” The satire layer is already running.
Method: Rockstar publishes an official caption track alongside the video on their own CDN. We parsed the English file in full and timestamped every proper noun. No leaked material was used, and none ever will be.
